XR EDU CLub

The XR EDU Club is a group of dedicated high school students who want to engage with solving problems using XR technologies. They inspire our community by producing high quality one-of-a-kind events to introduce other students to various XR development processes, for example teaching Unity, AI and web development workshops.

Every year they apply for the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow National Contest. This contest looks to excite youth about STEAM topics. This Club has entered this contest for two consecutive years winning State Finalist in 2019 and the Grand Prize of $100,000 in technology in 2020. Their unique prototypes include: StressLess, 2019, a Virtual Reality app that reduces stress, and FlameLess, 2020, a low cost lightweight fire detection device. Our Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Winning Team 2020, is pictured above.

Another mission of this club is to make authentic connections to industry and community professionals to learn from. With the design and production of our applications, we aim to find industry leaders to work with in order to better improve our products. We are always looking for professionals to work with, if you or your company is interested in working with us see our contact information below.

If you have questions or want to get involved, please email us by signing up for the mailing list or xredutech@gmail.com.
